Ask Me Anything
Why is mobile grooming more expensive than salons?
Mobile grooming is a more convenient way to groom your pups. We can park just about anywhere to groom with our grooming van. Having everything enclosed and in working order cost more than a traditional salon. We have to cover our overhead AND pay our employees. We work non stop for your pup. Meaning we bathe, blow dry, provide haircuts, nail trimming and all without stopping. (Unless your pup says they need a break).
How long does it take to give a haircut?
Haircuts vary from breeds, temperaments, weight, and coat condition. A typical groom for a small pup such as Yorkies or Shih Tzus with good behavior and coat condition takes about an hour to an hour and a half.
My dog bites, is this a problem?
Normally it is not a problem. We have had some clients who bite. If they start to be a danger to themselves or others a muzzle may be used to prevent injuries. Having a dog that bites does not disqualify them from mobile grooming. Instead we take our time to work with them in a safe environment. If you know your pup has a history of biting or just want to let us know any quarks they may have, it is greatly appreciated!
Why is there an arrival window?
Some pups may need extra care so we take our time and work through any issues that may arise. We provide every client a window for arrival. This allows us to give each and every pet the one-on-one attention they deserve without having to be rushed to get to the next appointment on time.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all forms of payment. Some examples are: cash, debit/credit, CashApp, Zelle, and online payments.
Do I need to be home?
We will require all pet parents to be home for the first grooming appointment. After that, recurring clients on a regular schedule are not required to be home. We will need access to your residence and pup to provide services.
My dog has allergies, what do you do?
The first thing you should do is contact your vet. Based upon their response we can provide a wide range of products that can best suit your needs.
I have 2 dogs, can you do them both?
Yes, we can do dogs together. Large dogs such as German Shepherds, Labs, or large doodles can be in the van at the same time, but will need to be bathed separately.
